(Argy), a rapidly-growing certified public accounting and business advisory firm, is pleased to announce the addition of John Harder as a Partner in the Business Consulting Group. Based out of Argy’s headquarters in McLean, VA, John will assist clients in the areas of process improvement, technology risk and technology assessment and implementation.
“John’s unique expertise really diversifies our consulting practice, allowing us to move that part of the firm in new directions and to offer new and different services to our clients,” said Paul Argy, President and CEO. “He provides us with the opportunity to expand into areas which have great potential. We are very excited to have his talents on our team.”
John brings to Argy over 20 years of experience serving a wide range of clients from startup organizations to Fortune 500 companies. His clients have spanned a variety of industries, including technology, nonprofit, retail, consumer products and government contracting.
John began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he became a partner in the firm’s Risk Management and Consulting divisions. He was the National partner in charge of the Package Selection and Implementation (PSI) practice and regional partner in charge of PSI and Data Management practices. Subsequent to IBM’s acquisition of PwC Consulting, John served as the America’s leader of IBM’s Financial Management Solutions practice for the Small and Medium Business segment.
The addition of John Harder continues to build on Argy’s business approach of offering the technical expertise of “Big 4” firms with the responsiveness and fee structure of a local firm. We are proud of our ability to maintain high standards of quality while experiencing the growth necessary to continue to move up the nation’s Top 100 accounting and consulting firms. The addition of John is expected to further support Argy’s growth in the coming years.
