McLean, Va. — January 10, 2012 — Argy, Wiltse & Robinson, P.C. (Argy), a rapidly-growing certified public accounting and business advisory firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Andersen, Assurance Business Advisory Services Partner, effective January 2012.

Mark has more than 17 years of public and corporate accounting experience and has served primarily as an auditor, which has allowed him to draw upon his private accounting experience to provide practical insight into his clients’ accounting issues.  Mark oversees audits and reviews of companies with annual revenues ranging from $1 million to $200 million.

Mark works with a wide variety of clients, focusing primarily on government contracting and information technology companies in addition to venture capital funds.  He provides business consulting and accounting services to several venture-backed technology companies.  Prior to joining Argy, Mark served as Controller at a software development company in Reston, Virginia, where he played an integral role in building the company’s accounting department from the ground up.
